Density:
Your new custom hair
system will be made specifically for you.
It will be to your specifications in every way.
Hair density refers to
how many hairs are actually weaved
into your piece. It can be built from 60% of the average numbers
of hairs to 150% .
A low density
seems to look more natural, simply
because we usually have thinner hair, before we loose it all. Low
density pieces do not usually last as long. Most people are not
happy with density lower than 80%. If you have a good
hairdresser
or barber, it might be better to order it with greater density, and let
the hairdresser use thinning shears to just the point that you prefer.
When you first get your
hairpiece it will look like far
too much hair. It stands upright in the beginning, but will soon
relax, and become accustomed to the way you comb it. It will look a lot
less dense in a week, so don't thin it for a while. When
you
comb it, do it on your head, not on a styrofoam head. The pattern
your hand takes across your own head, will soon make your new hair act
a lot like your original hair did.
